For example, the sales section of eBay will probably have the email address sales@ebay.com while the enquiries section will read enquiries@ebay.com. In both cases, the organization is eBay but the email recipients are different.

When sending out an email, ensure that it not only contains the email address and the body, but also the email subject. This is because, most organizations receive hundreds if not thousands of emails everyday and in order to get a quick response, writing down the subject of your email will help them sort it out and reply much quickly.

Consider also keeping a bookmark of all of your important email addresses. Since most organizations use a persons email address as a form of identification, keeping track of important email addresses is helpful when the need arises.
