Ductless air conditioners are relatively cheaper than central air conditioning systems, and, as I mentioned before, there's no house or rental unit you can't install them in. However, ductless air conditioners are like the box window air conditioning units in the sense that they can't really cool more than one room. On the other hand, they are far less noisy and less ugly when compared to window units. Ductless air conditioners cool rooms faster and with less energy than window units as well. So when you're looking at your options to beat the summer heat, consider ductless air conditioners for the hot spots in your house.
