And finally, make absolutely sure that the item you're bidding on is the one you want. There are lots of laptops on eBay that have somewhat deceptive descriptions attached to them. Read the fine print and make sure this is the model you want before you submit a bid.
Overall, buying new or used laptops on eBay can save you a tremendous amount of money versus getting the same products from a big box electronics store. Taking this route does require a bit of extra caution, though, so be sure to do your homework before dealing with anyone on an auction site!
