Regaining your Rich and Natural Brunette Hair Color

It's difficult to think of a hair color that can inspire as much devotion as the brunette shade dark, rich, and mysterious as it is. There may be a kind of popular appeal to blonde hair and all the ideas there are about how blondes have the most fun; but the brunette hair color is making huge re-entry today. If at work you're determined to be taken more seriously and to stay smoking hot while you do it, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better way than to take on a darker look.

To lots of women, this may be easier than going and getting their hair colored they are already brunette, and have been living under borrowed identity for all kinds of reasons. If you're that way, it can be ridiculously easy to go back to your roots you just have to go choose a brunette hair color that's close to your real color and let your real hair take over slowly.

Which brings us to one enduring fear that women have about taking on a color that has long been seen as dull and unadventurous as rich and as timeless as it might be, is brown kind of boring? That's not really how it has to be though.

For instance, no one says that you have to have light-colored hair to have all the highlighting fun. You could have a few copper highlights thrown in there in your brunette head of hair, you can get a richer shade (that shimmers) colored in, and so on. Some people feel that light brown hair such as it is might be natural in some women, is just too lifeless and ordinary. They want hair that feels endlessly deep, like an ocean of sensual mystery that a romantic partner would want to lose themselves in. A little carefully-chosen extra deep brown or glossy treatment at the salon could easily lend their mane all the drama they could wish for.

While it can be tiresome to have to pay for a salon visit every time you need to touch your hair up, you really did need to go there at least the first time you decide to switch to a brunette hair color. It can be hard to get a rich brown in the firs time. Your hair care person at the salon will need put your hair through a multistep process, enriching the pigment in your hair and then repeatedly bringing the color in. The color filling process, if it isn't done properly the first time, can turn hair a sickly green. And anyway, the packaged coloring products you get at any drugstore is meant for highlights, for grays and touchups. They aren't meant for this kind of extreme change.
