Buying 1st Birthday Supplies Spend on Anything That'll Show

Buying 1st Birthday Supplies Spend on Anything That'll Show up in the Photographs

Let's face it parents tend to cherish those first three birthdays more than any other. That's when they get to have a say in anything at all. Once a child is old enough to be able to point and ask for something, you can be sure that she's pretty much going to have strong preferences and you can be sure that you'll be cut out of the whole process. Basically, what this means is, that you need to really cherish those early birthday parties. And even if they are likely to be very small affairs, first-time parents can really get nervous about all that needs planning. Where do you get those 1st birthday supplies? How many guests? What kind of theme?

Well, it doesn't have to be as hard as all that. To begin with, you do need to realize that your child and all the kids on the guest list they are too young to understand what's going on. So you don't want to go overboard.

Nevertheless, the first birthday and the second happen to be important milestones. Even if your but baby isn't any kind of state to turn his nose up at a modestly arranged party, she certainly will be in a position once she turns 10 or so on she looks at those photographs. So a good policy to adopt would be go overboard on the things that are likely to show up in the pictures.

What that means is, you want to spend well on the decorations and perhaps the activities and the food. You dont really want to spend that much on the gifts. Which is quite convenient.

The lights and decorations are the ones that show up most clearly. Put them on the top of your list of 1st birthday supplies. Overdo it as far as you can and you probably still won't be able to spend more than a couple of hundred dollars. This is where it's clearly worth the money you spend centerpieces, lights, doors signs and festive paper plates and cups.

There are going to be plenty of pictures to do with the activities you plan as well. Get a bowling game, a ring toss game, a piata, a fairytale princess game it will be very difficult for you to go over $50 or so in 1st birthday supplies in activities even if you plan for the party to be chockablock with activities.

Of course, you're not trying to rip your one-year-old off and plan a party purely for appearances only. But at times like this when money is tight, you do want it put your money where it will make the most difference.
